Testing and Installation
At Steve Charles Electrical Ltd, each of our electricians is fully trained and qualified in testing and installing a wide range of electrical equipment. We are able to test the electrical circuits and systems that distribute electricity around the building, as part of our fixed installation testing. In addition, we also offer PAT Testing - the systematic checking of any equipment which has a plug.
Furthermore, as part of our installation service, we are able to install new electrical appliances or replace old ones for a low-cost price. As part of the work, we will ensure your appliance is installed quickly, safely and efficiently.
Auto-Opening Vents
Auto-opening vents (or AOV for short) are commonly used methods of smoke control to lobbies and stairwells in tall or large buildings. In the event of a fire, they are designed to automatically open to provide smoke ventilation and to enable safe evacuation of the building.
For an extremely competitive price, we are able to supply and install a vast array of auto-opening vents. All of our AOVs come with a range of glazing options and comply with Part B of the Building Regulations.
Emergency Lighting
Under the Fire Precaution (Work Place) Regulations 1999, all employers, landlords or occupiers must carry out a risk assessment to ensure their premises can be evacuated quickly and safely in the event of an emergency. As part of the statutory, it is a requirement that emergency lighting is installed to provide assistance to everyone evacuating the building.
At Steve Charles Electrical Ltd, our electricians are able to install emergency lighting for a very affordable rate. As part of the service, we will provide you with the circuit information and test results, as well as a schedule of items that have been tested and inspected.
Please note that all emergency lighting should be tested on a regular basis to ensure it is in full working order.
